Ambetter is in the process of rolling out an update to its insurance policy.
The update will let Ambetter users claim Ambetter products in the U.S. on its exchange.
Ambetter announced the update on its website Tuesday.
Users can access the update from the Ambetter homepage, as well as from the “Ambetter” section of the Ambeter mobile app.
In addition to the new insurance benefits, the update will allow Ambetter customers to request a $500 payment towards Ambetter’s purchase of a “standard” Ambetter product, as opposed to the $2,000 payment requested by users of Ambetter Plus.
Ambetter has offered a $1,000 credit for purchases of standard Ambetter devices.
The update also will allow users to request an additional $500 credit for Ambetter plans with the same or different coverage.
Ambeter’s Ambetter Insurance offers a range of benefits, including a $5,000 deductible, a $15,000 claim deductible, and $10,000 auto deductible.
Ambeter also offers insurance for “non-medical emergencies,” including medical emergencies such as pregnancy, breast cancer, or stroke.
Ambetems policies are available for purchase through the company’s website and mobile app, as are Ambetter Pro plans.
